THe New Shots

Hey folks,

As most of you know, we've had quite the busy fall, so the number of recent photos added to the blog have accounted for that. The more recent ones are samples from the shots we've captured as Frank has passed the nine month marker. At his recent physical he charted 22.5 pounds, 29 1/2 inches, normal head circumference -a clean bill of health!

in other news, he's got four teeth now, and loves eating.
he spends his days at powder pups, what i like to refer to as the finishing school,
but its more a cooperative childcare where both charlie and i have spent some days/afternoons
hazels one of the other pupsters, and i'll probably post some of the other kids,
as they've become a big part of frank's world lately.

he's standing now, against things, along things, holding onto and leaning into.
it's fun, he pushes this big crate of toys around.
he's still not very motivated by the idea of locomotion,
his super power is staying in whatever position he's left in.

as for charlie and i, we're plugging away. three weeks left to my semester, and things are still afloat. charlie just had a stunning six month review. biff has found a way out of the fenced in yard and has made some friends in the neighborhood. minneapolis is a city . . . and we think we'd like to be country people again. but it's a great place with lots of resources, support, and community. no complaints, just dreams of a bit more land and some woods to walk through . . .

henry klein is our neighbor, born two weeks earlier than frank, he's a charmer and a drooler, one close to frank's heart.

this is a great example of a time when momma was perhaps enjoying frank's mood more than he was.

this picture was taken when frank was maybe three weeks old. (you can tell because the tabs on the small diapers were still touching.)

from the very start franky has loved the front pack. here it put him to sleep, but more recently he's wide-eyed and taking in all his surroundings.

franky came in between the two largest snowstorms of minnesota's 2007 winer. here we are, bundling up, to go and brave the snowfall before they declare a transportation warning.

francis was born at 2:00 pm, you can see by the clock in this shot, he's just 4 hours old.
